Pipes & Drains

On Friday they had dug right around our slab to put in additional pipes - covering our slab with a mound of dirt. We took a picture of a workman in a whole up to his shoulders, so that gives a good idea of the depth they went to.

We went back yesterday to have a look and everything is now filled in again.. Our backyard has two pipes sticking up though - right where we are meant to be paving for our entertaining area. I've been told that these pipes are the overflow pipes and need to be left exposed - not happy!!

Builders have a copy of our landscape plan, so not sure why they would do this... Shamit is calling them today!

    Dont stress about the pipes in the paving it is just to catch excess run off in a big downpour and will keep the rain from going in your house. You will just have a drain cover in your paving. You can get some fancy drain covers and make a feature out of it if you want.
